“The paintings are prayers of celebration and thankfulness. So much was lost…a lifetime of art making and collected treasures...but so much beauty remains.”

That’s what New Orleans and Bay St. Louis artist Kat Fitzpatrick said as she – like so many artists devastated by Hurricane Katrina -- struggle to rebuild their art and their lives.
