Community Events : WBF Speaker Says Angel Pins Top 100,000

Patricia Gallagher, at WBF's October evening speaker, announced that her nonprofit "Team of Angels" Project topped 100,000 donations of "Team of Angels" pin and bookmarks. She completed a national tour this summer in which she brought pins, peace and comfort to wounded soldiers and their families. But she said she needs help to reach more soldiers.

WBF News - From the President's Desk : Seeking Nominations for Annual Election on Nov. 7, 2007

Our Annual Meeting and election has been scheduled for Wednesday, November 7 at 9am (immediately following our morning meeting) at the James Lorah House. There open position of the Forum is for Vice President. Per our By-Laws, the VP must have served at least one term on the Board and must be a Contribution-Paying Member in good standing. If you would like to nominate yourself or someone other than yourself, please direct inquiries and nominations to: [email protected]. All members of the Forum are welcome to attend the brief Annual Meeting. Only Contribution-Paying Members in good standing are permitted to vote.

Please note that the By-Laws were amended on October 18, 2007 and as a result, the Parliamentarian position has been eliminated as of the end of 2007.
