WBF News - From the President's Desk : Annual Election and VP Candidate Statements

Our Annual Meeting and election is scheduled for Wednesday, November 7 at 9am (immediately following our morning meeting) at the James Lorah House. The only contested position is for Vice President. The two candidates, Pamela Carroll and Maria Evans, have prepared statements for your review. All members of the Forum are welcome to attend the brief Annual Meeting. Only Contribution-Paying Members in good standing are permitted to vote. The candidates’ statements follow in alphabetical order:

Community Events : Hepatitis B Foundation Provides More Than 100 with Hep B Education and Vaccinations

The Hepatitis B Foundation offered its B-Empowered Program at the Bucks County Office of Employment & Training, which was made possible by the Bucks County Department of Health’s donation of $5,000 in vaccines and supplies, and more than 40 hours donated by Department of Health nurse, Eileen McLaughlin. This collaborative health initiative provided more than 100 community members with free hepatitis B education including preventative and awareness components, as well as the administration of a three-shot hepatitis B vaccination series.
