Sole proprietor? Partnership? Corporation? LLC? Choose the wrong structure for your business and you could end up “donating” tax dollars to the IRS.

Catherine A. Ponist, Certified Public Accountant, will discuss how to select the best structure for your entity so it yields the greatest tax benefits now and into the future at the regular FREE monthly morning meeting of the Women’s Business Forum, 8-9:00am on Wednesday, December 5, at the James Lorah House, 132 N. Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.

“Each structure has tax advantages and disadvantages,” says Ponist. “You should select the one that best suits you, your business and the way you operate.”

Ponist’s presentation will include:

  • Personal and business factors that may influence your choice of a structure for your business entity
  • Tips on deductible expenses you may be missing
  • The rules for taking personal expenses as a business deduction

Ponist, who established her Bucks County firm in 1993, has more than 25 years’ experience in public accounting, tax and business consulting.
