How do you define success and achievement?
As women in business, we strive for success and achievement in our lives. At the end of the day, we all have a definition of what success means in our business. My idea of what my greatest achievement may be as a PR and Branding Strategist, is likely to be very different than what you classify as an achievement in your line of work.
I recently heard a radio ad which illustrated this point. The ad played out with children’s voices defining what achievement meant. The one response that echoes in my mind was the child who best described their sense of accomplishment as “when you can say the ABC’s without singing them.”
This resonated with me because I believe that we often lose sight of the small accomplishments we achieve which propel us forward in our business.
Take stock in what you accomplish and celebrate all your successes – large and small – this month!
