THE WALKING PURCHASE HOAX OF 1737

The course will explore the historical event of how the sons of William Penn tricked the Delaware Indians out of 1200 square miles of prime hunting lands. Learn about this local story of greed and trickery and its implications for today. A Native American Indian perspective will be included.
