Kimberly Yorio, co-founder with Caitlin Friedman of both Girls Guide and YC Media, a boutique public relations agency in New York City, will discuss the third of the duo's books, nationally-touted "The Girl's Guide to Kicking Your Career in the Rear." The first was "The Girl’s Guide to Starting Your Own Business;" the next, "The Girl’s Guide to Being a Boss without Being a Bitch." As two women who have worn many professional hats-television producer, publicity director, senior account executive, bakery manager, small business owner, and author-they have experienced both joy and heartbreak during their careers. But even on the toughest of days, Caitlin and Kim have gotten so much from their worklife that they have committed themselves to the creation of a company that helps women nurture their professional selves. |
